Water by Design
At Healthy Land and Water, we are committed to helping everyday people and organisations manage water more sustainably in urban environments. We believe it’s vital to create and maintain urban spaces that protect environmental values and provide quality recreation and social opportunities.
Since 2005, our Water by Design team has been working to identify and fill knowledge gaps and encourage the community to incorporate improved sustainable water management practices.
As the initiative gains momentum, the team is focused on building regionally consistent approaches and encouraging innovative practices. By facilitating information exchange, networking, and constructive debate, practitioners are motivated to deliver high-quality urban environments.
As part of the initiative, our team can provide capacity building services and products including training, guidelines and technical resources for practitioners in industry and local government.
