Supporting Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation (QYAC) in delivering activities in alignment with their Quandamooka Strategic Plan in South East Queensland.
The services include but are not limited to Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) Bushfire Management Strategy Coordination Assistance, support in the delivery of the Coastal Adaptation Strategy Project for Moreton Bay, providing environmental input for research, commercial activity, and infrastructure permit applications.

As a result, we are aiding QYAC in fulfilling its strategic, project, and contracted initiatives.
The project will provide Project Management, Technical, and Strategic Services for QYAC across Quandamooka Country as well as services to support QYAC in the delivery of activities in alignment with the Quandamooka Strategic Plan and complimentary to the QYAC & HLW Memorandum of Understanding.
Quandamooka Country is a place that holds important and unique biodiversity value and incredible cultural significance. It is regarded as a sanctuary that has been cared for by its owners and custodians, the Quandamooka People, for many thousands of generations. It is paramount to preserve its internationally significant biodiversity and to ensure its management is led by Traditional Owners. Healthy Land & Water shares a close bond with the Quandamooka Yoolooburrabee Aboriginal Corporation (QYAC), which was formed in 2011 under the Native Title Act to represent the interests of the Quandamooka people. Healthy Land & Water is proud of its collaboration with QYAC and has been privileged to assist and work with the Quandamooka People on a variety of important projects and programs. |
