🚀 One of the nifty ideas we’ve been testing is AI avatars – and the beta has been such a hit, we’re opening the gate so you can try it too!

💡 Most people care deeply about the health of our ecosystems and waterways, but find the simply enormous volume of data collected over the past 25 years overwhelming. While decision-makers have been using this data to guide policy and planning for the last two decades, it’s often hard for local businesses, farmers, and community members to delve into and find what they need easily.

🧠 So, we asked: How can we make this easier for everyone?

🤝 We partnered with @ArborAI to upload just a small sample of our data sets for the region’s Report Card and they teamed it with information from trusted online sources to create a beta AI avatar experience.

🎤 We tested the beta version out at a recent Riversymposium masterclass  – and the response was incredible. So many people wanted to share it with colleagues and friends that we’ve decided to make the beta version available for everyone to explore.

🌱 The raw potential of these AI avatars to help people access the insights they need is now fuelling a side project: we’re exploring what data we’d need to upload to support the launch of our 25-Year Report Card this December.   

📊 South East Queensland is lucky to have 25 years of ecosystem health monitoring. Our friends in South Australia, currently grappling with the algal bloom, would give their eye teeth for this kind of long-term, rigorous data.
