Stephen Robertson is a consulting expert in environmental sustainability and natural resource management and was named inaugural Chairperson of Healthy Land & Water in 2016. Previous to joining Healthy Land & Water, Stephen was a state government minister for 13 years and was responsible for portfolios including energy, water, natural resources, mines, trade, health, and emergency services.

Stephen is highly regarded for his insight and for his ability to identify emerging challenges and develop strategies to effectively deal with them. He is passionate about community engagement and collaboration and is dedicated to finding science-based solutions to environmental issues affecting South East Queensland and beyond.
