Stephen Robertson, Chair – Board of DirectorsSharing his intimate knowledge of the demands and expectations of government, the corporate sector, NGOs, the environment, and potentially impacted communities.

Stephen Robertson is a consulting expert in environmental sustainability and natural resource management and was named inaugural chairman of Healthy Land and Water in 2016. Previous to joining Healthy Land and Water, Stephen was a state government minister for 13 years and was responsible for portfolios including energy, water, natural resources, mines, trade health, and emergency services. He is also the Board Chair of Planet Arc.

Stephen is highly regarded for his insight and for his ability to identify emerging challenges and develop strategies to effectively deal with them. He is passionate about community engagement and collaboration and is dedicated to finding science-based solutions to environmental issues affecting South East Queensland and beyond.
