Water by Design team members, Sam and Karen, attended the annual IECA Australasia Conference 2025 in Melbourne last month to receive this award.

This year’s conference theme was “Stabilising Today, Sustaining Tomorrow”. It was an inspiring three-day event, showcasing the work of erosion and sediment control (ESC) practitioners from across Australia and New Zealand. Engaging speakers representing industry, Natural Resource Management groups, local governments, and the not-for-profit sector shared insights on innovation, community engagement, and policy.

Along with insightful knowledge sharing, it was great to acknowledge and celebrate the collaborative achievements of this small but mighty sector. Congratulations to all the award recipients and a big thank you to all the passionate professionals who continue to drive best practice and inspire others in the ESC community.
