Site visits with election candidates
In the lead up to this year's federal election, Healthy Land & Water has been inviting candidates to come out and see a local site and spend time learning about what is needed to help South East Queensland's environment thrive.
We've had two take-ups from candidates already, with our Acting CEO Dr Andrew O'Neill taking Trevor Evans (LNP) and Stephen Bates MP (Greens) out to walk alongside Enoggera Creek and talk all things environment.
We are keen to do more site visits with any other candidates who want to learn what they can help partner on to protect the environment if they are elected.
From creek rehabilitation to rubbish cleanups to boosting biodiversity, there's no shortage of actions to discuss and work together on with the successful candidate after the election!
