Ray Nelson is Healthy Land & Water's Business Manager, supporting the operationalisation of our strategic vision. He is responsible for providing high-level executive, policy, strategic planning, operational, and internal project management assistance to the Chief Science & Sustainability Officer, the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Leadership Team.

Ray's values of contributing shine through in his community service, with his 10 years of volunteering tenure in Surf Life Saving Queensland, and more recently with the State Emergency Service (SES). Ray has also been appointed as a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) for the State of Queensland. These values translate to how he works within operational teams and in assisting the executive team. He has a pragmatic approach to situations, looking at the broad view, and is confident working with all levels of stakeholders.
