He is particularly dedicated to fostering sustainable practices and community-driven initiatives, which guide his approach to stakeholder engagement, project management and implementing practical solutions for positive environmental outcomes.

As an Environmental Project Officer with Healthy Land & Water’s Land Restoration team, De Wet contributes to on-ground projects, including revegetation, weed control, and erosion management, to strengthen the resilience of South East Queensland’s natural landscapes.
