Aaron Blucher is a proud Wakka Wakka, Wulli Wulli and Goreng Goreng man with family heritage inclusive of The South Sea Islands. He has strong Country and family connections in the Burnett and Wide Bay regions of Queensland. Aaron was born in Meanjin and throughout his life he has been linked to the Yuggera/Ugarupal and Turrbal Lands, growing up living in Ipswich, working in Meanjin and gaining a great education and building a positive working lifestyle.

Aaron strives to give back to these communities by becoming an emerging Indigenous community member.

His working history has found him in various State and Federal departments, which include significant contracts in DATSIP, DAFF, the Department of Defence and DNRM. These government agencies have moulded him into the professional he is today.

As a corporate professional, Aaron has a strong Administration and Human Resources background, and as a First Nations professional, he has a strong Cultural Heritage and Community Services background.

Aaron worked with various Mining and Energy companies in recent times, which gave him insight and knowledge of many projects throughout Queensland, and his most recent employment in Vegetation Management provided him with a great opportunity to give back to Country with the aspects of Land rehabilitation and restoration. He worked alongside important stakeholders such as QGC Shell, Batchfire, Goldings and CS Energy, to name a few.

Aaron is continuing to develop and build his career as a First Nations professional and, in turn, supports my goals to become a Deadly role model in his community.
