Property mapping & planning workshop | Boonah

Come along and learn about key land management principles and receive information and support to develop property maps and management plans for your property. Property maps are an extremely valuable tool used to assist landholders plan and manage their properties and communicate important information.

Main topics include:

  • Recognising your land types and differences in productive capacity and limitations.
  • Identifying and mapping grazing land types, paddocks and key natural features.
  • Mapping important property infrastructure such as fence lines, water points and fire tracks.
  • Soil conservation principles and plans to maximise infiltration and reduce erosion.
  • The latest vegetation management information for your property.

Good grazing land management is about understanding and managing your land and animals to optimise pasture growth and composition for sustainable production and landscape resilience.
