Pasture & Land Management field day | Esk

Come along to learn how the natural resource management and production benefits of an ongoing program of works to improve soil and pasture condition on a local grazing property.

Main topics will include:

  • Improving soil and pasture condition through use of manures and fertilisers.
  • Improving pasture condition through establishing suitable grass and legume pastures for your land type.
  • Production and fertility benefits of improved soil and pasture condition.

The discussion will be led by variety of speakers, including David Hall, Dr Bill Roughan, Bruce Lord, and others.


We will be heading out into the field as part of this event, so make sure you bring:

  • Suitable clothing for field visit, including sturdy, enclosed footwear and a hat.
  • Sun protection and insect repellent.
  • Notebook and pen.
