Gully erosion repair and pasture management field day | Moorgang

Landholders in the Bremer Catchment area are invited to attend a free gully erosion repair and pasture management field day to learn about cost effective measures to control erosion and improve pasture condition on their properties.

Attendees will have the chance to inspect recently completed small scale projects designed to control historic gully erosion, followed by presentations at the Aratula Hotel Motel. There will also be opportunities to discuss options and practical management practices to reduce erosion and maintain good pasture and land condition on their properties.

Topics will include:

  • Managing and maintaining healthy pasture in grazing landscapes.
  • Small scale, cost effective gully erosion control options.
  • Managing ground covers and vegetation to assist in erosion control.


WHEN: Tuesday 8 June 2021, 9am – 3pm

WHERE: Moorang for property site visit (Exact address will be provided upon registration) and the Aratula Hotel Motel for lunch following site visit
