Do you have a plan for bushfire? Free bushfire information session.
Healthy, Land & Water and Queensland Fire Biodiversity Consortium in partnership with Gladstone Regional Council invite residents and landholders to a fire information street meet to discuss fire preparedness and the benefits of having a fire management plan for your property.
Our street meet will be a great opportunity to share views and experiences on managing fire risks and engage in discussions around developing strategies for your property, possibly in conjunction with your neighbours.
Representatives from the Queensland Fire and Biodiversity Consortium, Gladstone Regional Council, Rural Fire Service Queensland will share information about their roles and offer advice about planning for the approaching fire season, local laws and vegetation management. A light snack will be provided. Inform your neighbours and bring a chair.
