Landholders interested in learning more about wide range of climate information and tools and practical management strategies and practices to improve the sustainability and resilience of their properties should attend this free climate adaptation workshop at Pomona, Noosa Hinterland.
Attendees will hear from main presenter, USQ ClimateMate, Peter Crawford & Healthy Land & Water & Noosa Landcare staff on following main topics:
- Overview of the seasonal outlook and key climate drivers for the region.
- Using climate forecasts and tools to improve decision making.
- Understanding future climate predictions and impacts on agriculture, biodiversity in SEQ.
- Adaptation strategies and practices to improve condition of natural assets – soils, pastures, waterways, native vegetation and biodiversity to maintain healthy and resilient properties & landscapes.
