Professor Rod ConnollyProfessor Connolly is the Director of the Coastal and Marine Research Centre and the Global Wetland Project based at Griffith University. He is an experienced marine scientist whose projects incorporate the science and monitoring of ecosystem health into adaptation strategies.

Through his work on resilience and ecosystem protection, he is helping to find sustainable solutions to the issues of urbanisation, food security, ecosystem services, and climate variability. He chairs and is a member of several scientific panels overseeing water quality and habitat conservation programs in Australia and internationally.
