Healthy Land and Water is hosting a free Rural Essentials workshop for Sunshine Coast property owners on the 7th of March from 9am to 3pm at the Kin Kin School of Arts Hall.
The Rural Essentials workshop, delivered in partnership with Noosa & District Landcare Group as well as Noosa Biosphere, will help rural landholders gain a deeper understanding about their properties and teach them to develop practical management plans.
Landholders will be given information about landscape processes and sustainable management practices and tools to help improve productivity of soil and pastures and enhance native vegetation and biodiversity on their land.
Attendees will be taught how to reduce the impact of flood, fire and drought. All workshops attendees will be provided with a free property map which will be used at the workshop to map out infrastructure, local vegetation, land types and soils, biosecurity concerns, and fire management features.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided at the workshop. Space for this workshop is limited and booking your spot is essential.
