Grants up to $15,000 in value are available for individual projects that protect and enhance the natural assets and biodiversity of the Sunshine Coast.
The Sunshine Coast Council Landholder Environment Grants program provides funding to private rural landholders to undertake on-ground projects on their properties that contribute to the region’s biodiversity and waterways.
The grants aim to protect and enhance the natural assets and biodiversity of the Sunshine Coast and promote ecologically sustainable management of the region’s environmental values. These grants are provided by the Sunshine Coast Council funded by the Environment Levy.

How to apply
- Expressions of Interest and applications must be submitted online.
- Application is a 3-stage process:
- Expressions of Interest are now open.
- This will be followed by a site visit from a Sunshine Coast Council Conservation Partnership Officer.
- Then the applications will be an online process.
