Stakeholder and Community Update: Covid-19
26 March 2020
Healthy Land and Water is continuing to operate as much as possible, business as usual.
We are closely monitoring the development of the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuring we are up to date with the latest recommendations and guidelines from the Australian and Queensland Government agencies.
As this is a rapidly changing situation, we want to reassure you that we are taking steps to maintain business continuity while minimising risk to our staff and everyone we do business with.
As of Monday 30 March all HLW staff will be working from home and our office locations will be closed. Our project team will continue to go into the field as required to oversee the delivery of projects.
We have made the decision to postpone several workshops and events and will continue to review this week by week. We are investigating alternative delivery methods for training, workshops and community engagement and will keep you updated as this progresses.
Engagement with our stakeholders remains a priority and our staff will work with you to ensure we can continue to deliver the important work we do.
We are confident that the contingency measures we have implemented will enable us to continue delivering for our partners and communities, while putting the wellbeing of our staff and our broader community as the highest priority.
We look forward to continuing to work with you and thank you for your ongoing support.
Stay safe, stay well and stay connected.
