Ben Penhallurick is the Principal Scientist for Water by Design program, working in the Climate Adaptation team.

Ben is an environmental scientist specialising in water sensitive urban design (WSUD). He has over 10 years experiencing working on WSUD-related projects for industry and local governments in New South Wales and Queensland.

He is an advocate for ecological sustainability and wants to see it achieved through the evidence-based and integrated management of Queensland’s land and water environments. He is a firm believer in good collaboration and that it is required to overcome our pressing land and water challenges, including an increasingly warm and variable climate.
