Dr Jack Coates-Marnane is a Scientist principally supporting the Ecosystem Health Monitoring Program (EHMP) and the production of the annual Report Card.
Jack has conducted applied research across waterways of South East Queensland to support improved natural resource management decision making. This has included research to improve our understanding of the frequency and impact of high-magnitude floods. He has also developed State of Environment Reports for the State of Victoria, while working for the Victorian Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability.
Jack completed a PhD at the Australian Rivers Institute in 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Marine Studies (Hons) from the University of Queensland.
