Grazing BMP is a voluntary, industry-led process designed to help beef producers enhance the sustainability and profitability of their enterprises. It also provides the beef industry with a platform to demonstrate to the community and consumers that beef is being produced sustainably and ethically with reinforcement on the good environmental stewardship of landholders.
Through funding support from the Queensland Government’s Department of Natural Resources & Mines, Department of Agriculture & Fisheries (DAF) and staff from Healthy Land and Water (formerly Healthy Waterways and SEQ Catchments), the Grazing BMP program is delivered at various locations across South East Queensland throughout 2017-18.
Other dates and locations for this workshop include:
- Wednesday 22nd November – Lockyer Valley Function Centre, Gatton
- Thursday 23rd November – Kilcoy Information Centre, Kilcoy
