Sean Morrow

Habitat Creation for Native Wildlife
Pomona, QLD

Sean Morrow always had a deep love for the natural world. So when he moved onto his 6.5 hectare property in the Noosa Hinterland in 2001, he set out to fulfill a dream of creating a nature habitat for Australia’s native animals.

When he first arrived, the property was bare grass with eucalyptus trees and a large dam. Over the next 17 years, Sean established dozens of habitat ponds, planted native plants and fruit trees, added mulch, rocks and natural logs and set up nesting boxes. Slowly, the native animals returned and settled in to call the property home. In recent years, Sean has shared his passion and expertise with other people as he continues his mission to create natural habitat for animals and inspire fellow humans to do the same.
